I discovered that on SCS there is a MFT sketch challenge (just another thing to keep me busy…LOL).  This is what I made for MFTSC02 this week:

let’s go for a walk mftsc02

I used Let’s Go for a Walk stamp set from My Favorite Things.  Being a dog lover, and having a very large dog, this was a must have set.

Card base is 4-1/4″ x 11″ folded in half.  I created scalloping to the back side edge with my 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch and added a strip of Real Red CS.  I stamped the front of the card with the circle images from the stamp set.  With the sentiment having “in style” in it, I went with a lot of fabric (ribbons), stitching, and brads to add the fashion factor.   cut a 1-1/2″ slit with hobby blade on the scored middle line of card for my ribbon.  Tag created with a 1-1/4″ & 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, Scallop Punch, Crop-A-Dile, and Pewter Jumbo Brads.

The main image was stamped on a 2-5/8″ x 3-1/4″ piece of Shimmery White CS and then matted on a 2-7/8″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic Black CS.  Image was stamped with Stazon Jet Black ink and watercolored with an aqua-painter and classic stampin’ pads.  Present attached with stampin’ dimensionals.
