TGIF right? That means it is time for Beate’s wsc#28.
FIRST CARD was made with a Stamping Bella stamp:
I just love this image (these girl images remind me of the blonde in the bubble gum commercials), the colors, and the use of the chipboard for this card. This is also my first take with Copic Markers (a friend of mine has been SO KIND to let me borrow to give them a test drive)….let’s just say I’m a “comic with copic” LOL. They do take some getting used to.
While playing around with this card, not knowing if this is a known technique out there in the world….but I put my Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon in my Cuttlebug embossing snowflake folder and got an awesome result:
I was tickled with this ribbon. I have been wanting to use this embossing folder for some time, but didn’t want to use it on cardstock due to taking away from the main images of my cards…such a nice subtle touch when on the ribbon.
Here is an upclose pic to show the copic markers & use of chipboard.

SECOND CARD was made because I wanted to show my love for Stampin’ Up! and to be true to where it all starts:
Dusted off this old set and gave it a try because I found these flat puffed circles covered with glitter at my local stamping store and instantly thought of this set.
Card base is Wild Wasabi measuring 4-1/2″ x 9″ folded in half. Next is Chocolate Chip 4-1/4″ square; Real Red 4″ square; Papertrey white 3-3/4″ square.
The trees were stamped on a separate piece of cs, colored, cut out, then adhered to main image piece so they “come off” the edges.
STAMP SET USED: It’s Snow Time
CARDSTOCK USED: Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Real Red CS; Soft Sky Textured CS; Papertrey White CS.
INKS USED: Soft Sky, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Summer Sun, and Chocolate Chip Classic Stampin’ Pads; Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker; Stazon Jet Black ink.
