beauty lies within

expressing self by creating

philly…here i come! September 4, 2007

In less than 2 weeks I will hop, skip, and jump on over to Philadelphia, PA.  So nice to see a SU! regional close to home.

Like I mentioned in the past, I will be donating approximately 60 cards to the Ronald McDonald House Charities basket and not swapping.

Here is what I came up with:

ginormous happy flowers

For obvious reasons, I wanted to go with uplifting colors with a touch of white.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! details if you’d like to participate as well:

  • Cards should be the standard quarter-page size (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″).   Unlike swaps that are just card fronts, your creation will need to be a completed card.

  • Cards for every occasion are acceptable. Thank-you, thinking of you, seasonal, birthday, wedding, shower, and anniversary cards and cards that are blank inside are all needed.

  • Do not include personal information on the card.

  • Insert a card into an envelope before you put it in our donation basket.

  • Do not seal the envelope.

  • Bring the completed cards and envelopes with you to the seminar.

Stamps used: Ginormous Flowers; Define Your Life;  Little Flowers; It’s All Good; So Swirly Jumbo wheel.

Cardstock used: Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky textured, Apricot Appeal.

Inks used:  Apricot Appeal, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip, and Soft Sky.

Accessories used:  Apricot Appeal grosgrain ribbon; 3/16″-corner rounder punch; scallop punch; 1-3/8″ circle punch; 1-1/4″ circle punch; 1/2″ circle punch; stampin’ sponges; Crop-A-Dile tool.

Hope to see you at Philly:)

Absolutely beautiful! You are so sweet to do that. You are giving me food for thought. I might have to donate some card when I go to Portland in October.

What a gorgeous card!! I agree with Beate… You are totally sweet to do that! 🙂

  3. You are a card angel! I give cards that I make and from swaps to the Keiki Organization. It is such a special blessing to share some happiness with these children! Bless you! Deb
