Ahh yes.  You know her right?  Her name is Cammie and she is super talented.  Make sure you check out Cammie’s Blog  for lots of inspiration.

I received this RAK from her this past week:

So, tomorrow’s card will be my return RAK for her.  Again, if you attend the MFT release parties, it will make total sense…lol  I actually have to make another because she is not alone.

Hugs to Cammie *giggle*

simple love cards for soldiers January 29, 2008

These cards where made to be sent overseas so soldiers have Valentine’s cards to send home to their loved ones.  You can find out more info –>here<–  on Beate’s blog…you have to act fast.  I made these this am and it only took about 1hr.

rak for soldiers

I was told to “keep it simple”, so here is what I came up with.  I had to add some details because the card base is Whisper White and it needed a little dazzling.

STAMP SETS USED:  SU! Priceless and Short & Sweet

CARDSTOCK USED:  Whisper White, Regal Rose, and Real Red

INKS USED:  Real Red

ACCESSORIES USED:  Regal Rose 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch, Crafters’ Tool Kit (paper-piercing tool & template), Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Cotton Candy Stickles.

Finally, it has been brought to my attention by a viewer that she was having difficulties seeing my posted pics due to my waterseal and shadow box that I insert.  I do appreciate all feedback and I’m working on a solution for the issue.  I do place my waterseal over areas that don’t contain details for your viewing, so I will not be removing or lightening this feature up at all.  With help from some of my friends, I have researched “how to get a bigger image file when you click on the photo”.  I’m hoping it worked for this pic.  I will do my best & continue striving to share with you my work….but bare with me as I am still learning the whole bloggin’ stuff 🙂

Have a wonderful day.

Don’t you love receiving happy mail?  I got this beauty from Beate Johns blogging at Fresh & Fun.  I’m sure you have heard of her…she is amazing and very talented.

RAK from Beate

I love this color combo together.  And the DSP adds just the perfect touch.  Look closer….holy punches right?  I love how she uses punches to create such pretty sentiments.

Thanks Beate.  Will frame…LOL

I had the pleasure of meeting Jill at this past convention.  She is so sweet and very talented.  I just love the fall color palette and use of Apple Cider DSP.  And, look how the chipboard embellishments are layered for some really cool dimension.

Very nice of you Jill.  So uplifting on 50-degree rainy Pennsylvania kinda day:)

I received this beautiful RAK from Shannon Erskine.

RAK from Shannon Erskine

Shannon has an awesome blog titled Hoppy Creations.  Here work is amazing and I hope you take a moment to browse around her site.

I love the colors she used and how the ribbon coordinates so nicely.  The medallion is 3 layers with a lot of cool dimension… swirly and elegant!

Thanks Shannon for this beauty!

spook-tacular RAK September 20, 2007

Filed under: RAK — mjalbright @ 12:54 pm

What a nice surprise in the mail today to get me in the mood for one of my favorite times of year.

RAK from SCS’s STAMPIN UP CHICK!   Thank you so much.

I just love how she stamped the “witches brew steam” on vellum — adds a nice touch of dimension & detail.  Silver cord with a touch of black gingham ribbon holds the triangular tri-fold card closed.  Front sentiment says, “Witching you…”, and inside says, “a haunting halloween.”  How cute!

first RAK June 29, 2007

There’s nothing uppity about my upline.  This card was given to me by Deb Kemp.

rak from deb kemp

I love the simplicity of it.  So elegant!!

The card is made with Sahara Sand cardstock that’s stamped with Garden Annuals standard wheel and Pale Plum ink.  The center part of the card is Confetti Cream on Always Artichoke cardstock.  She used Wild Rose stamp set with Always Artichoke, Pale Plum, and Perfect Plum ink.  Edges of Confetti Cream are sponged with Always Artichoke ink.  Love the paper piercing detail…balances the card and draws the eye up to sentiment.  Sentiment from Warmest Regards Level 1 Hostess Set.

Thank you Deb for the card!
