Definitely a challenge!!! When I saw the sketch for this weekend, I instantly thought that I had to make something that would flow & coordinate with the look of a file folder. It would have to be office-like with a twist of my style — that was hard since my style is fun and whimsical.
This is what I came up with for Beate’s wsc21:
I am sending this card to Ethan’s teacher who just retired. He attended our High School’s Child Development class. I took him 2x/week so he could interact with other children and the high school students would “study” them. I was so hesitant to send my little man due to my very protective attitude:) She was the best teacher and I felt very comfortable letting him “hang out” with the big kids.
Here is the inside of the file folder card. I added a pocket to the inside bottom portion of the card and inserted a pic of my son. How stinkin’ cute right???
You can find a tutorial for this card on Beate’s blog.
