Beate’s weekend sketch challenge #51 June 6, 2008

Happy Friday everyone.  It’s been a rough week.  I won’t bore you with all the details…let’s just say it is getting harder to recover from working weekend night shifts.  I’m also late with posting the winner for my blog candy (see bottom of post for winner).

Let me start by saying that it is an honor to be on Beate’s wsc team.  She is such an inspiration and I’ve learned so much from her and have grown over the last year by participating in her challenges…and for that, I am so thankful for all the hard work she does for all of us stampers:)  Here is another awesome sketch  that Beate has put together for us this weekend:

MFT released a new line of stamps that you can read all about here.  “My Favorite Things Presents” is bringing you new images from Annie LaPoint.  For my card, I used the Take a Break image.  I love the look of the image.

I used my Scor-Pal to create the grid pattern to the horizontal piece of Very Vanilla CS….Thanks Debbie & Beate for posting this on your blog:)  It was hard to make the black work, but I couldn’t resist coloring the tub this color:)  If I had more time to re-do the card, I would have less space to the top of it (right above the ribbon…it was late and I didn’t want to take it all apart).  Added some Prima’s with a Black polka dot brad to the bottom right.

You can view more samples for the wsc at the sites of these talented ladies:

Cambria Turnbow, Charmaine Ikach, Jenn Balcer, Laurie Schmidlin, Lori Craig, and Sharon Harnist

AND THE WINNER OF LAST FRIDAY’S BLOG CANDY IS:
